Anticipate
the possibilities.
Shape what comes next.
Connect strategy to financial forecasts. Calisto Consulting structures budgets, forecasts and analysis to turn assumptions into decisions.
What if your assumptions changed?Explore the simulator: volumes, prices and costs update the results and chart.
Understand the model
Simplified annual example: base revenue of €50m, variable costs of €30m and fixed costs of €12m. Variable costs follow volumes at a constant unit cost. The price effect applies to scenario volumes. EBITDA = revenue − variable costs − fixed costs.
Educational simulation, with no client data or EPM connection. These assumptions are not a forecast.

Improve
your FP&A.
Start with the right topics to build a framework proportionate to your needs.
Does rolling forecast replace the budget?
Not necessarily. The budget establishes a reference and objectives; the rolling forecast updates the expected trajectory over a moving horizon. Both can coexist with clearly defined purposes and comparison rules.
Where should we start if our models are in Excel?
Start with models and processes: identify key files, sources, calculation rules and weaknesses. We can structure the existing setup before preparing a gradual EPM migration when appropriate.
How do we choose the right operational drivers?
Focus on factors that explain the main financial items and that your teams can provide or manage: volumes, prices, headcount, capacity or unit costs. Detail should remain useful, understandable and maintainable.
Can forecasts connect to Group reporting?
Yes, by aligning reference data, periods, scenarios and reconciliation rules. The goal is consistent comparisons across versions and variances that decision-makers can understand.
